Topic of the day. Looking back at the things I've done (Yes! reference intended from backstreetboys), wouldn't there have been a regret in your past? A wrong you wish you could set right. A mistake you want to undo. Or maybe.. A move you did not dare to make? But that's all in the pass now, all that's left is a tint of, yes topic of the day, REGRET.
A new chapter has began in all our lives, but you cannot lie that once in awhile you would wonder if the present would be different if you changed your action in the past. Be it studying harder for exams, practising harder for competitions or making a move on your dream girl. We all have something we wish we can change in the past, but yes, that's already in the past. Instead of regret, we should be looking forward. The pass regret should serve as a reference for your future actions. Studying consistently instead of last minute. Practise harder but fairly for competitions. And last but not least, making THE move on your dream girl. (You might notice that I rant alot on love, mainly because I have let a few opportunity slip by and have not fully experienced it. That would be my regret.)
Typically speaking, everyone would tell you to move on and not harp on past regrets. Well, that's BASICALLY what all level-minded people would say. For example, a heart break. It is not something that you can get over overnight, well for most people. A couple of my friends experienced one, but they both had different ways and time length to get over it. One chose to drown in sorrow. The other chose to hit the club AND drown in sorrow. I do not know if it's just that all heartbroken guys do that or my company. Well, time passed and they got over it. One is with a girl now. The other still looking, though he says he not looking as he is not over his last relationship but I think he is just bull shitting and waiting to snag the next girl that open up to him. Well, that's from my perspective anyway.
Blah blah. Morale of story blah blah. With every article I compose, I do have a morale or experience that I intend to convey but what's the point of telling you the morale of the story point-blank when you should had understood it reading the previous few paragraphs?
With that,
Just my thoughts
